What shmup are you playing now?

After Ibara i now play Pink Sweets , the rank system is even worse but i refuse to suicide .
I haven't fully worked out the scoring system yet , there is medal collecting to chain score like Ibara though , miss one and value goes to zero .
I really like the artwork , it's a vertical Cute 'm up and the music and setting reminds me a lot of Harmful Park , the gameplay not though , it's hard as nails .

I've got a relatively free weekend with no plans.. I'm going to cozy up to the couch, crack open a beer, and re-discover Axelay..

Oh man the rank is Pink Sweets is fucking brutal. The instant you do anything it starts going up.

I still need to pick up Axelay. Playing Gradius 3 and Sunset Riders on SNES right now. Both are sooooo good

I recently bought Taito Legends 2 for PS2 so I'm basically playing all the shumps in that collection.

I JUST got a 1cc in Game Tengoku in my First time Ever playing it. I felt the need to share.

Lately I've been really into Star Soldier R & Trigger Heart Excelica

Also I just discovered Verytex for the Mega Drive. If you enjoy the PCE/TG16 shmups then this is recommended.

My buddy brought his JPN 360 over this weekend and I got to finally play some Ketsui and Mushihime-sama Futari. I've been researching ways to get my hands on these games every since he left, hehe

i played R-Type Final yesterday for PS2. the charging sounds kinda annoys me, the game itself seems pretty cool so far though..
