Hi all! My name's Wyatt, I'm 28, married, live just north of Cincinnati and work at Toys R Us. I just finished a 9 year run of hardcore endgame raiding in EQ and WoW. I am shifting focus back to console gaming and I came by the site by way of looking for shooter reviews. Shmups and RPGs were always my two favorite genres. I'm also somewhat familiar with mod chipping, did it with a few PS1s and am about to do it with my PS2 for the FFX International I got for X-mas
. I want to get both my Saturn and DC chipped for both copies and imports. I plan on building back up a library of NES carts and shooters from all consoles. See ya around!
Hi, I'm 30 years old and live in Madison, WI. My interests are videogames (duh!), films, reading, indie rock and Japanese culture. Consoles I own include the following: Sega Master System, Sega Genesis, Sega CD, 32X, Sega Nomad, Sega Saturn, Dreamcast, Virtual Boy, Super Nintendo, 3DO, TG-16, PSX, PS2, and Xbox. My favorite genres are RPGs, fighters, and shmups (although I'm pretty bad at most shmups).
Wow -- a lot of new people in here! Glad to have you all!

Hi,
I am 24 years old, from Denmark.
I have lately grown quite an interest for Sega and Sega games. When I was a kid I had a Sega Master System II (Which I still own), but left consoles completely for PC gaming in the beginning of the nineties - mainly because I've never had my own television. When I moved to my own appartment I convinced my better half that we should get a projector, and why not be able to play games on it as well as watching movies, so we bought an Xbox 360 at the day of the european launch.
I've grown quite fond of the Xbox 360, but my time to play is rather limited, so it's only some sunday afternoons im able to sit down and really get into the more "epic" games. Through Xbox Live Arcade I rediscovered the casual fun in the old console games, and after dreaming buying a mint Megadrive 2 in the local minimart
I bought, actually a factory sealed Megadrive 2 on eBay. My Sega collection has now extended to covering Master System (The old one from my young days) the Megadrive 2, a completely modded Sega Saturn (did it my self, very proud - ofcouse I bought the chip...) and a Dreamcast, and I actually got us our first own television. (You really get CRT televisions thrown in your neck these days!)
I really enjoy reading Racketboy's retrogaming, and peeking in the forum. I have never really my self been a very active forum user, but perhaps I will start some threads now and then.
Professionally I work as a Ph.d. student in Computer Science in the subarea called Human Computer Interaction or HCI, where I work with novel interaction techniques, and interfaces distributed across multiple devices - something referred to as Ubiquitous Computing. From this perspective the console development is very interesting, alot of interaction techniques had their roots in console gaming, and were driven forth by this - just look at the Wii
I think that was it!
Regards,
Svovl
