Getting a little bit pissed off with these stupid regional lockouts on video content....

Seems like every other video I can't view because I don't live in the correct country... I shouldn't have to spoof my IP just to browse the WORLD wide web.

How does one spoof an IP? I'd sure love the tip on how to do so~ ;)

It's not that hard. There's plenty of services out there that will allow you to use an IP from another country...

My argument is I shouldn't have to. It's ridiculous, I can't watch anything that is owned by MTV, several video services won't let me watch because I'm not from the US. I can't watch the updated version of Jackassworld, what we get is 6 month old videos and content that is barely updated. If I try and watch a video on the US site I get redirected...

Is it just me that sees this practice as completely and utterly retarded?

there was a mypod reference in last nights episode too....but it didn't seem negative in anyway. They did give a few good jabs to apple, but nothing truly funny. I think they should have ended it by 2000....it's just seemed like they are beating a dead horses mummy at this point. None of the jokes really feel new anymore. Just kinda a little chuckle here and there.
I'm assuming you're talking about the "Equalia" episode? I'll confess I missed the first five minutes, but I thought it was pretty funny for a recent episode.

The show did really go downhill several years ago, but there are still occasional gems. A few seasons back they had an episode where they split the school by gender and Lisa went undercover as a boy because they weren't really learning anything in the girls' classes. I'd rate that one among my top 10 favorite episodes of all time. Of course, it was helped by the novelty factor. I've seen all of the other great episodes many, many times.

Yes it was the "Equalia" episode. It's not that it was bad, just medioce. That one where Lisa became "Toilet" was pretty funny. That was a good recent episode.

While we're bashing the Simpsons, I'll add that the movie was pretty lame too.

I had high hopes for it. Too high.

I thought the first half of the movie was good but then it turned to crap fairly quick after that.
