I was a music major for a while. I started in 5th grade on viola, quit that to start clarinet. I've also played bass clarinet and contra clarinet in Eb at the state level - also as a jazz soloist. I've marched snare, tenors and bass drums. Played auxiliary percussion (keyboards, mallets, cymbals, temple blocks, etc...). I took Bassoon and Horn for a semester each, for fun. I've also marched baritone and sousaphone at the college level. I've tried to play everything that you see in a normal ensemble and then some. Eb horn, oboe, flute, sax and strings weren't really my bag. I also play guitar/bass and drum set.

I play bass. And I'm pretty good at it!

Here's a link to prove it (and to whore myself out):

This was a side project for me several years ago. These songs - along with 7 or 8 others - were recorded in a two day session at some guy's home studio. It's a little weird with the girl screaming and making witch noises, but it was funny as hell live.

If you're wondering, that is not me in the picture. That's the guy who replaced me. I played in the recording, and for the first few months with them. I was able to play a show with the Blood Brothers because of this band - I even met members of Botch!!! . But unfortunately I missed out on playing with Minus the Bear.

I played the trombone through high school, but I haven't done much with it since then. I've thought about picking it back up, but I'd be incredibly rusty, and the trombone isn't really something you can jam with.
Comics, RPG's, miniatures, and now retrogaming? I guess its time to learn to go without eating...

Kind of the bagpipes. I've never actually played on a set of pipes before (mainly because I can't afford them right now), but I can play on the practice chanter.

Guitars of all varieties and amounts of strings including 4/5/6 string basses. Have played for many many years and I teach guitar freelance in my spare time.

I also sing to a high standard and am 1 semi-tone shy of a four octave range. If I sung in my upper register it would make me a counter tenor but since I can sing comfortably in most registers apart from low bass I don't really know what range I am.

I'm a pretty fine tenor myself.
