I have an update on what's going to happen with my setup.

Me and my wife are planning to refurnish the living room. And we are planning to buy some bookcases and also a new furniture for the TV. This one:

The plan is to place it horizontal and have one console in each shelf. On top we will put the DVD-player and put the Plasma on the wall above it. It will either be black or white. We haven't decided yet.

Thats a perfect console stand. I have been looking around for just such a thing. I may have to look into that one. I hope you get it!

It's very nice. I didn't tell you before, but it's actually an Ikea furniture and is called Expedit. I think they have the same name in other countrys, but I'm not sure. A great thing i that you can have it both horisontal and vertical so if you you have alot of console you can have three; one horizontal and two vertical on each side.

The shelves are 33,5 x 33,5 cm (13.1" x 13.1"). They also have thist with 4 x 1 the shelves and also 2 x 2, 4 x 4, 5 x 5. There is also specific TV-furniture that has a compartment in the middle for a flatscreen-TV:

I hope I give some inspiration on how to have there setup...
