Gotta agree that a good DC vs. Marvel game would elicit a huge fan boy-gasm from yours truly.
And while kinda… weird, I’d play a Namco vs. Troma game.
Still, in the end the best video game crossover for me would be another Marvel vs. Capcom game. Granted another company has the Marvel license right now so that’s out of the question. But still, a Marvel vs. Capcom 3 with some higher quality sprites, an even bigger roster, and NO FRIGGIN’ SMOOTH JAZZ, that’s what I’d want.
For a roster update, I’d personally like to see these guys added to the fray:
For Marvel: Captain Marvel, Carnage, Deadpool, Dr. Octopus, Dr. Strange, Ghost Rider, Iron Fist, Luke Cage/Power Man, Super Skrull, The Thing (kinda dumb to have Doc Doom and no FF members). Thor.
I’d like to see at least one or two more modern heroes. Maybe one of the Runaways, but which would transfer the best to a fighter? Sister Grimm or Bruiser seem the best choices. I mean if they could fit Marrow and Silver Samurai in I don’t see why not.
For Capcom: Ameratsu (Okami; don‘t ask me how that would work),Dante (Devil May Cry), Firebrand/Red Arremer (Ghosts n’ Goblins/Gargoyle’s Quest), Maximo (Maximo series), Proto Man (Mega Man), Mike Haggar (Final Fight), Radd Spencer/Bionic Commando (Bionic Commando), Viewtiful Joe (Viewtiful Joe), Zero (Mega Man X/Mega Man Zero)
Since Onimusha is one of the more popular Capcom franchises it’d make sense to have someone from that too (I haven’t played those games so I don’t have someone in mind). Maybe some people from Dino Crisis, Tech Romancer or Godhand? Skullomania from the Street Figher EX games might be good, if only cuz he looks cool.
Some alt. outfits would be nice too, like Jill Valentine in her RE3 look, and Luke Cage both in his modern bald headed look and his 70’s disco look.
Yeah I geeked out a bit there. Sue me.

I wanted to be a Teminator but they require you have an armored hyperalloy skeleton and mine's mostly recycled truck tires.

Re: Video game crossovers I wanna see
Chalk me up for the Marvel vs Dc.
If you have ever been to my site (see sig) I am DC comic bias. I wish someone would do DC comics some love... I have not played DC vs Mortal Kombat, but it does not look like something I would "love."
So yeah... I would "love" a Capcom made Marvel vs DC.

I don't think that Capcom would get the rights to DC. In fact, IDK who would do it. But it SHOULD have the same look as SF4.SpaceBooger wrote:Chalk me up for the Marvel vs Dc.

Re: Video game crossovers I wanna see
If they made a MK vs SF it should look like Street Fighter.
Well that's my personal opinion because I was never a fan of MK.
They could do what the comic book companies did back in the 90's - each of them make their own version in their own style.

Re: Video game crossovers I wanna see
I think to be fair to everyone it would have to be done in the style of Guilty Gear.

If a MvC3 ever did come down the pipes is there anybody you'd like to see that I didn't list?REPO Man wrote:I totally agree. And you're allowed to "geek out".Elwood wrote:Gotta agree that a good DC vs. Marvel game would elicit a huge fan boy-gasm from yours truly.

Also musically I'd rather they do some remixes from Capcom games if they aren't going to go out of their way to make good original music.

Re: Video game crossovers I wanna see
There's one idea for a crossover fighting game that pits Mortal Kombat against the world of Lovecraft.
The plot is simple: In an alternate ending to Armageddon, the Old Ones have intervened, and seek to rule the realms. The resulting conflict lead to a new tournament, where the MK characters, both good and bad, must now team up against the representatives of the Cthulhu mythos, which encompasses all Lovecraftian works and characters. But mostly I just wanna see Herbert West, albeit based on the original version, and not the film version.

Re: Video game crossovers I wanna see
I would like to see Marvel vs. Namco vs. Capcom vs. Midway
I want to see something crazy like 4-way fights at the same time like Super Smash bros style, but all the characters are hand drawn hd 2D graphics.
The Namco fighters might look weird, but I'll like the crazy fights.
I want the fighters to be drawn like in SF 3th Strike.
Marvel: The Punisher,Luke Cage,War Machine,Wolverine,Captain America,Venom,& others from X-men/MSH.
Namco: Forest Law,Paul Phoenix,Nina Williams, most of the Soul Edge & Soul Calibur fighters.
Capcom: Akuma,Ryu,Ken,Blanka,Balrog,Captain Commando,Mega Man,Mike Haggar,Rolento,Cody,Guy,Hugo,Poison,Frank West(Dead Rising),the guys from Forgotten Worlds, some fighters from Dalkstalkers & too many to list from SF.
Midway: all the fighters from MK,Killer Instinct,Primal Rage,& the aliens from Area 51.
This game would be huge and probably pretty hard to make with the different fighting styles, but I would love to see the clash of all these fighters in one game.
