A game to beat the winter blues.

Is there a game that puts you into a good mood or what?

SF3: Third Strike, and some decent competition. Guaranteed mood lifter for me.

In RI its about 19 to 20 degrees F and where expecting about 7'' of snow. When the artic wind hits you it feels like your eyeballs are going to freeze solid. What I wouldn't do to feel warm sunny weather right now. Green trees, half naked girls, beaches, no snow, half naked girls, a good tan, cold cocktails and half naked girls, Boo hoo elvis.

It's not "warm" here. It's stinking hot. You sweat just sitting still. There are no half-naked girls because it's too hot to go to the beach (you'd literally burn in minutes between 10:00am and 3:00pm) - everyone goes to local shopping centres to hide in air conditioning (which sucks if you actually need to go shopping, as you fight mindless crowds doing nothing but wandering around). The trees are all brown and dying because we're in a drought. You'd be mad to drink during the day because you'd dehydrate and end up with one mother headache.

"Warm and sunny" is spring/autumn for us (unless you live in Tasmania). The Australian summer is just feral for the northern states.

Sounds like hell, I forgot Australia is in full blown summer right now.

I used to be able to deal with the heat and humidity OK, but in recent years my health has taken a dive, and it's killing me these days.

I grew up in Roma (600KM inland) which was always hotter than Brisbane, but dry (5% humidity max). I can handle the dry heat no worries. But wading around in this hot swimming pool they call a Brisbane summer just blows.
