konami got away with shutting down roxor's in the groove, and they pretty much had just pattented the concept of the game. there's way more to it but thats the jist of it.
allthough i'm sure the cabinet conversion kits didn't do them any good, it still pissed me off. I don't have an in the groove 2 machine within 50 miles, and i'm burned out on DDR years ago. ITG was such a better game, but because you step on scrolling arrows to a soundtrack, and that's the basis of konami's patent, it got shut down.
