It's unfortunate that your other systems were donated behind your back. It's funny how systems populate Goodwill from time to time - ten years ago, Atari's were everywhere. Five years ago, the Atari consoles disappeared and the SNES and Genesis consoles showed up en masse. Now, my local Goodwill has at least four PS1's in stock at any given time, usually for about $6 or so. The desirable retro phase doesn't kick in for consoles right away...

My local goodwill has become "savvy" with their videogames. They keep the following gems behind the glass counter:

1. N64 goldeneye
2. Anything with the word "mario" in the title
3. Anything with the word "Zelda" in the title.

Everything else sits in a pile in the corner. I'm sure there's been some real treasure in that store, and they probably sold it for peanuts because it didn't have "goldeneye, mario, or zelda" in the title.

I just went out and bought myself a dreamcast. I didn't buy anything extra though. So I have no games and no VMUs. Only the console, the cords and one controller. I think I might burn some dreamcast games but I really don't want to because, well it's illegal and I like owning the original game and if I burn them I will end up never buying them.

i cant reccomend getting a snes enough. greatest console ever, in my opinion.

I'd agree. Quite a close second with the PS and DS for me.

Nice Gameboy Collection.I found a lot of consoles at Goodwill,I didn't get them since I already have them or a better version of them like a FC Twin.I could of had 3 Snes systems if I would buy them every time they come in.The Dreamcast is a great system to have and that's why a lot of people on here have at least one and it's a cheap system to buy too.
