no, registering systems doesn't give you any coins. only certain wii, ds, and wii channels and downloadable content give you coins. check the faq for full details.

...but does registering systems actually give you coins? I registered all of my games and got over 500 coins but I registered my DS, DS Lite, wife's DS Lite and my Wii but no coins for them. This is puzzling.

I think registering systems just extends their warranty.
