The biggest problem with the Playstation version is that the translation was very poor and the voice acting was horrid.

It's an old thread, but I figured the following may be interesting for fans of Grandia.

The Japanese Saturn Version is definitely superior. Better Graphics (sharper, higher resolution, shadows on buildings, character sprites are not distorted, framerate is better, backgrounds in the battles) and the japanese VOICE ACTING is sooo much better!

Take a look at this:

It would be damn cool if someone (with the needed skills) hacked the Saturn Version and inserted the english PSX script.
