Thanks, racket. This is one of the best articles so far. I now have a new PS2 shopping list - shame that hardly any of them are in the bargain bin at my local games store. To eBay!

I have to be honest. I was disappointed. Too many Japan only games.

So to play those "gems" you'd have to invest $500+. Sorry man, I gots bills to pay.

There weren't that many of them -- what like 10 or 15 (out of 200)? And most of those were 2D fighters or shooters...

Good list, had to be large when you consider the sheer size of the PS2 library. The only system that has something for everyone as far as I can tell.

I think there's 1,800 or so games in the United States alone, and somewhere I read that there were twice as many games in Japan. Can someone verify this?

I didn't put the "obvious" ones on yet because there would be so many and I was rushed to finish it up as it is.
