Radiant Silvergun was neither developed by nor published by Sega. You may have listed more where this is the case, but I stopped reading.

Then again, people don't seem to be following the same protocol as the OP.

I took the OP to mean games released on any sega system. Guess I mis-read that then.

So following "protocol":

Panzer Dragoon Saga
Shenmue
Panzer Dragoon Orta
Ecco: The Tides of Time
Sonic the Hedgehog CD

Just for kicks I'll leave it like that. Sega should have published that game  They didn't publish Shinobi X in the US either, and that was their own game.

I'll finish my round-up:

Gameboy Advance
  • ChuChu Rocket!
    Comix Zone
    Sonic Advance 2
    Puyo Pop Fever
    Gunstar Super Heroes

PSP
  • Sonic Rivals 2
    After Burner: Black Falcon
    Alien Syndrome
    Sega Rally Revo
    Sega Genesis Collection

As was with the XBox Sega released their better titles for the less popular platform. Yet Sonic Rush > Sonic Rivals.

It seems ESP has also published Gungriffon II, Bangai-O and Ikaruga. I usually assume if it's a Sega console and Treasure's the developer then Sega is the publisher (not helped by the fact collectors artificially help inflate prices for Treasure games, thus lessening the chances of my coming across any!). I'm glad you pointed that out  btw S-TV is emulated under MAME and Radiant Silvergun runs nicely if you have the CPU for it! What a corker!

Mine, in no order what so ever:

Landstalker (Sega Genesis)
Dark Savior (Sega Saturn)
Sonic 2 (Sega Genesis)
Virtua Cop (Sega Saturn)
Crazy Taxi (Sega Dreamcast)

There so many old good ones, but these are the ones I remember dedicating the most time to.
Somebody sell me a model 1 modchip for Saturn. Please.

Man, that would be too hard to do.

Most of my favorites were on the Genesis and maybe a few from the Dreamcast but not many :( Sorry, the DC had quite a few original games that were excellent but there was a way better library of games on the Genesis... So much that I wouldn't know which ones to include because I'd end up going back because I had forgot one.

but good god, why would anyone include Sonic Adventure in a top list? That game honestly sucked really bad compared to the 2D ones. Unkippable cutscenes, crap voice acting and flawed gameplay.

I wasn't a big fan of it myself, but I liked the second one a lot. Hell of a lot better then the first one.

I guess I'll make a list. Mind you, I didn't own a Sega console back in the day....

Sonic 2
Sonic 3
Shining Force 3
Shining the Holy Ark
Skies of Arcadia

Sonic CD
Flashback
Out of This World
Heart of the Alien
Panzer Dragoon Saga

A close runner up would be Sonic Adventure. Yes, that's not a misprint, I really like that game.
