Re: Top GBA Games?
All this praise for Final Fight One, isn't Mighty Final Fight on the GBA? I heard that's good too

Check RB's Hidden Gems article, some or most of these are mentioned there.
Tactics Ogre, Zone of the Enders, Final Fantasy Tactics are all good (probably ordered in that ordered, TO is the best IMO).
Megaman Zero games are excellent, but are rather hard. Same goes for Ninja 5-0 / Ninja Cop.
Muppets Pinball is surprisingly good for a pinball game. Pinball Fantasies and Pinball Dreams exist in a compilation cart but I don't remember the name.
There is a cool Death Rally clone that I don't remember the name right now as well.
There are some good RPGs, already mentioned Golden Sun for example.
Zelda (Minnish Cap) is great as usual.
Try the Boktai games (I'm a huge fan).
As far as special carts, Wario Ware: Twisted is good, as is the regular WarioWare.
Kuru Kuru Kururin is surprisingly fun.
If you like Final Fight, instead of getting a game you probably already finished, try Jackie Chan's Adventures (yes, really) - surprisingly quality brawler. Advance Guardian Heroes is even better, very good brawler (it may or may not be a good successor to Guardian Heroes, but on its own merits it is a great and fun game).
If you are into that sort of stuff, you can try the Monster games, the Pokemon games, or the somewhat different but somewhat similar Megaman EXE games.
Ivo.

Thanks, everyone. Like your list, Ivo; quite a few to check out there. Ninja Five-O looks interesting.
On a side note, you clearly have good taste, Kennerboy, because two games that I've played and enjoyed thoroughly previously are Mario and Luigi and Metroid. Possibly my two favourites.
Well, either that, or your taste is as bad as mine.

Re: Top GBA Games?
No kidding? Yeah, GBA had a lot of good titles, I really enjoyed AstroBoy as well. It reminded me of Ninja Gaiden for xbox because I swear I had to practice in order to beat that game. It was funny, I was hanging out at my friends house one night and his older brother was watching over my shoulder as I played and he was "coaching" me. "Ok jump! You have to be shooting that guy when he's coming down. Jump again! You have to be shooting your laser whenever you aren't close to him." Haha, seriously, give that one a shot. It's a keeper. Golden Sun is definitely my favorite for the console though. Hands down.
Re: Top GBA Games?
AstroBoy, huh? I remember playing that very, very briefly one time on an emulator and then just shrugging it off. I think I was on an RPG phase at the time, though, and hadn't fully acquired a good taste for shoot 'em ups.
I remember it being fast - very fast; and hard. Damn hard.
However, as shoot 'em ups, hard and fast games are now my 'thing', I'll be sure to give that one another chance. Thank you for the recommendation.

Re: Top GBA Games?
The GBA is great if you never owned a SNES.
Lots of remakes and ports.

If each mistake being made is a new one, then progress is being made.

Minish Cap
'In the end it didn't work out. It was tough, but those were great days and I've never met anybody who regretted buying a Dreamcast.'
