Saturn - DoDonPachi, or is is SoukyuGurenTai? or maybe Radiant Silvergun
DC - Zero Gunner 2!?! (see PSP, below)
360 - Trigger Heart Excelcia
GC - Ikaruga
GBA - Vulkanon 2 :)
PSP - Mars Matrix on CPS2PSP (otherwise would definitly have been DC No.1), although for PSP retail - Gradius Collection (playing Gradius 1)
DS... Nanostray (1)
PS2 Gradius V
PS3... what shooters? 1942 sux.
PS1 Einhander

Don't really dig 8 or 16 bit shooters as much (Graduis 1 excepted, as above), although the TG16 R-Type is awesome and continues to hand my ass to me on a plate...

EDIT - Really wish I had a modded PS2 to play some of the NTSC U & J games (ESP Galuda...DDP DOJ...)...

How is that supposed to be the best PSP shooter when you're running it through an emulator? That shouldn't count.

I don't play a lot of shooters but here's a few:

PS1-Einhander
Saturn-What else? Radiant Silvergun.

It probably doesn't count, but I do love the shooter sections in The Red Star on the PS2, which is essentially every boss fight

I've been meaning to play that game for so long. Looks like it has both beat em up and shooter moments in the game along with a story from a comic book. Sounds perfect but I can never find a copy of it any where.
