I find your lack of faith in the dreamcast disturbing.mobiusclimber wrote:They're both great systems, I personally like the Dreamcast a bit more partially because there's a lot of great games on it for cheap. The Saturn has some great games, but most of them are terribly expensive. Here's some comparisons:
Best RPG: Panzer Dragoon Saga (Saturn) - $200; Skies of Arcadia (Dreamcast) - $30 or less
Best Beat-Em-Up: Guardian Heroes (Saturn) - $80; Sword of the Berzerk (Dreamcast) - $10-20
Best Action: Burning Rangers (Saturn) - $80-100; Phantasy Star Online (Dreamcast) - $10
Best Adventure: NiGHTS Into Dreams (Saturn) - $20 ($60 if you get it w/ the controller);
Best Strategy-RPG: Shining Force III (Saturn) - $80; this is a trick question for the Dreamcast since unless you import one there aren't any strategy-RPGs
1) Skies of arcadia wasn't that fun, it was too far from the standard rpg for me to get into, grandia 2 was better.
2) Yes sword of the berzerk is the shiznit.
3) PSO is an action rpg, but i'd hardly call it an action game... you know what you really meant was QUAKE 3 ARENA!
4) Adventure game, seriously what kind of adventure? you mean platformer, sonic adventure2 and rayman are awesome, actual adventure game, dreamcast has a ton of survival horror which is a subgenre.
5) correct, i recommend blackmatrix/ad
edit: oh yeah and i agree with the guy that said saturn no dreamcast yes. Saturn is very limited in scope it seems.
