I wanna know, what did he say when you pulled that out and asked him to sign it?

Ok, after having spoken to Fast on the phone just now, he wanted to make it more obvious what that is. So this is how he wanted to do it.

"Fast. Is that chainsaw signed by Bruce Campbell?"

Don't worry about it selfdestroyer. Fast wanted me to make it more obvious who the signature was from. He's gloating...heh, and I say it's fair game for him too.

Awesome. Love Bruce Campbell. You should have got a video of his reaction when you pulled the chainsaw out hehe. Personally if I ever met the man himself I'd want a sawn off just so he can bless it as a boomstick.

Love the mame cab. Top work!

Sorry folks, for my cousins wedding I went from usher. To head usher, dj for both reception, tertiary wedding planner, security (its complicated), and shuttle driver for part of it... So free time went down to nothing for the past month. Now I have three things on my plate for the next few months:
1. Cons - Momo and AUSAM
2. Build a Car Wars City
3. Finish the cab

And since three of the other guys involved with the wedding are now looking for things to do - well I have help.

Thanks to my good friend slickdeals, and a trip to both frys and brandsmart, I just ordered monitors for the cab. The old monitors were 18 inch sanyos in the 3:2 aspect ratio - yeah those arent really sold anymore. They were 10 inches tall and 16 inches wide. The closest thing to that in LCDs is a 17 inch widescreen. So thanks to Dell, I have two on their way for cheaper than one at either of the brick and mortars. Mounting them will be tricky, but I think I have that figured out, can you say brackets?

Painting of the control panels should happen Tuesday evening and hopefully I will have it up and running Thursday. Granted I only have one joystick that will fit. Old ponyboy will be getting a call from me for Christmas...

I really hope for it to be 100% complete by the end of the year. There are still some tricky things to figure out - the missing section of the base is something very troublesome. But I hope to have it running Gauntlet in the near future.
