Long live the Dreamcast! It would be awesome if someone made a new online game for the Dreamcast, too, but the fact that they're still supporting the system at all is good enough for me. :D

I paid for a custom sprite not knowing that my sprite for the GP2x version got included for free. They offered to give my money back, but I just let em keep it. I support the little companys XD

I'm interested in this game, but the euro to dollar conversion just kills me. Last Hope comes to over $60 before shipping on their site... yikes.

I can find the page for sprite-ordering, but not for the actual Dreamcast release. I imagine that would be 20 euros, though.

Actually, hucast.net are developing Dux, athough they too are made up of ex-members of the NGDEV team that produced Last Hope. RedSpotgames are apparantly working on a vertical shooter called 'Dalforce' as well as the DC port of Wind & Water.
He'd have known that had he read my interview!

Reviving this thread because the game can now be pre-ordered on Play-Asia.

So I tried this out a little. Got a couple gripes. It doesnt support soft-reset, and it's not very well formatted for 480 sets. My TV is cropping off a good portion of the right side and bottom. It also seems to only support slot 1 memory cards. I wanted to use my slot 2 but it doesn't even try to.

Otherwise this is a surprisingly slick game with a nice CDDA soundtrack, low rez but pleasing spritework, and a lot of content for a puzzle game.

Put up a video of me unpacking it and trying it out, if anyone's interested:

First impressions: Darn, is it hard! I still haven't beaten the first vs battle in the story mode. takes some really quick reflexes. Very nice, though.
