favorite SNES Games by genre!

Yeah, some folks think I'm a little nuts here because I own every American released Vs. fighting game on the SNES...All three versions of Street Fighter 2 were a must! As for Star Ocean, DeJap has translated it, so you can pick it up in English. The voice acting they can't really do much with, but...heck, it's still really cool.

I notice no love for Mega Man 8 amongst those you listed...which is fine, I consider 8 to be the weakest of the series. A real let down for me.

I'm only counting games i used to own back in the days. I did however play a lot more SNES-Games recently due to emulation, but that's just not the same and i never got over the fact that it's illegal. So yeah that's my list. I'm currently stocking up on NES Games and am definitely planning to get ahold of a SNES Cable ('cause i still have an old SNES around at my parents) and then i need to finally get Metroid, Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy 6 and others... xD

Still Yoshi's Island was an incredibly awesome game imo, great graphics and overall very very innovative (you've got to see it to believe it)

I was never a real big fan of Yoshi's Island. I only played maybe 1/4 of the game, there just wasn't any thing that grabbed me, or addictive about it.
