Also....
It's also possible the springs or latch on you're system are worn out. That griding/line stuff happens alot when the cart tray moves. Try sliding another game in the cart slot on top of the other inserted game. If that fixes it, it's probably the latch or springs. You may have to open it up and do some repairs if thats the case.
