I'm not sure if I'm going to have a chance to play this but can someone tell me if there's a save point at the end of each disc? I ran into that problem with Lunar when I couldn't do a disc swap using a gold finger / playstation. I prefer playing on a console rather than emulating. Thanks!

Sweet, I've got a mod chip in the mail! This is first on the list.

Once I get started on it, I can save you some states at the end of the first disc (if you want to start disc 1 on the real PS and have a backup if you need to go to disc 2 on emulator).

But like with Lunar, don't count on having these delivered "on demand", depends on how much time I have to play and so on.

Just gonna boot it up to feel nostalgic. This is a fantastic game, lots of text to read on the second disk. Luck to everyone, i'm letting this one pass but who know maybe after trying it will get hooked again.

Xenogears was so awesome, better than Xenosaga in some ways(primarily the combat system). I won't be participating, but I wanted to show my support for you guys playing through this.

Hey, thanks Ivo. I still haven't finished Lunar but I'm close and your save was greatly appreciated. Definitely no hurry with Xenogears. I think I'll check out the first hour to see what it's like. I've got too many other games going at the moment to really get into it though.

At first I was angry because I thought I wasn't going to be able to play it but know that I've gotten an emulator to work, I have been enjoying the game very much. Another great addition to Together Retro.

Im really enjoying the game so far, but i have heard the average save file clocks in at 100 hours which is putting me off a little.
My FFX file was 120 hours, but that was with destroying dark aeons and unlocking absolutely evreything. Is it really 80/20 cutscenes?
