for LCD's try leaving the TV off for a day or two. Yes it will be horrible but unlike plasma, LCD's actually dont get burn in, they get crystal memory. If you dont use your TV for a long period of time they should return to normal (My PC LCD used to get the boxes when I had a 360 about a year ago). As for what to do during that long wait to play some more Soul Caliber 4 or you Sega Saturn, get outside and just enjoy the world that provides us with such nice things.
