I'm going to jump in as a late comer but does anyone know what Langrisser II CIB is going for?

Well, they have to be the Japanese version though....
You won't get much for the American ones...
Oh. I guess I misunderstood when he said "imports" in Japan I guess he meant they are selling Japanese games not US "imports". oh well I was joking anyway.
(Just woke up). Actually I did mean imports as in US games simply sold/imported in Japan; the straight up US versions - not localized. Just like what we do in the states with Japanese games.

Pink Godzilla was claiming that these games are so rare in Japan that they have sold for $300-$500 USD
Batman Forever
Justice League
Maximum Carnage

Somehow I find that hard to believe considering they are easily found in other regions dirt cheap.
Flak Beard mentioned he saw a Batman game at Super Potato for about 11,000 yen (a little over $100 USD) so I'm thinking that might sound more reasonable for Batman Forever.

What is your insight one this?
I speculate that the main reason that they're "rare" is because that during the MD/SNES/TG era, US/EU games released in Japan were often regarded as inferior and shunned simply based on that they were foreign or un-Japanese. So then possibly people and/or stores were ET'ing them when they realized they couldn't sell them. And simply they are "rare" because they are now scarce for a JP region published title.
Just because the number of copies remaining or printed is low doesn't make it a good game~ ;)

I've seen plenty of US games that I would see for a few bucks at EB going for $40~$90 simply because they're imported; here at least.
Flak seeing Batman Forever for $100 doesn't seem unreasonable at Super Potato... They over-charge for their "imports" IMO especially if he went to the Akihabara (only Tokyo) location. I supposed they're appealing to the Japanese collector with super common US games but uncommon in Japan... Or foreigners that truly haven't a clue. Meh, go figure~

I still remember when I bought Shinobi Legions for the Saturn in Japan long ago for $5/500yen and bringing to my local import store (when I got back to CA) and them giving me $40 for it. What's rare one place could be ridiculously common elsewhere. Just like good pizza in the states, ain't none to be found here.
well I heard Acclaim actually dumped a few remaining copies in Japan because they had too many sitting around :)
Anyway, what do you think the "going rate" would be for them?
I'm not really sure as American-made games are kinda off my radar but from the American import-versions I've seen of other games, anywhere from $60~90 if it was something we'd see commonly for $5~10 in the states or ridiculously higher like $120~$150 for Mike Tysons Punch Out... Then again, since I never sell my games, I don't know what they'd actually give you if you sold a MTPO here. I really should check into that. Crap damnit, I'm not much of an entreprenuer am I?

On a good note, I got Gunstar Heroes JP ver for $15 CIB - mint, the other week. The art is so much nicer (and I'm not even a manga/anime fan so that's not it for me~). :)
