a Level Editor? - That IS cool 8) LOL

Though when it comes to MM'ish games on home computers I always liked Spindizzy (especially on the C64 :D )

I'll be playing the Master System version, as it is the one I grew up with. So many memories of that game...

Yeah, I'll try and take some screen shots of the Speccy version of MM. It's not very good but the level editor is pretty novel.

Spindizzy is a much better game on the Speccy than MM. I'm playing a lot of Speccy games [.Z80 snap shot files] via my PSP at the moment. Having a blast :)

I was lucky enough to secure one at a local store going out of buisness for only a couple dollars. It is not arcade perfect but works quite well for occasional playing. With regular trackball cleaning (everytime it falls and the ball pops out cleaning the gunk out). It has served me well for about two years.

Got a quick question, guys. I saw the Gameboy version for sale for about 5 bucks at my local Gamestop. Now none of you seem to be playing this version, but I wanted to know if any of you have experience with it, is it worth playing the game this way, as I've got a Super Game Boy, so I can try it on my SNES.

I remember playing the GB version of MM back in the day. I'm sure its pretty faithful gameplay wise. Really hard tho'! I don't think I could get past the second level =/

There's a GBC version too somewhere.

I emulated it, made it to the third level on the 90 degree control style, before the map put in a place that I could get in, but not out of. I had to sit there for thirty seconds, not able to do anything. Then, Game Over, restart the whole game. Screw up once on the GB, and that's it.

Hard.

About the ports...

Post by blakespot »

I wanted to point out that the Sega MasterSystem port is FAR superior to the NES port. Amazingly so. It's a great conversion.

And why does the article recommend the C64 version over the Amiga version?

The reason given in the article is that the C64 has trackball controllers. Although, I remember trackballs for the Amiga... :)
