To this day I don't think there's been a pop artist as good as he was(or a dancer for that matter), but yeah unfortunately he turned out to be quite the freak.

His old stuff is still great though, and Moonwalker on the Genesis was a decent game. Space Channel 5 would have been awesome with or without him though.

Michael Jackson was nothing without Quincy Jones. Invert it and it holds true. Those fools would write nearly 200 songs an album and cut it down to 9 or 10. Crazy I tell you. The industry could use more of that. Nowadays some twit makes a hook and a beat in his space time and sells it for 2 million dollars. throw young attractive vocalist #315 version A over the top and call it good. Songwriting in pop music is a lost art.
