Opinion on a SONY TV!!!

I know Sony stopped making CRTs recently, but I always thought Sony and Samsung were fierce competitors, in part because of Sony's falling quality reputation and Samsung's rise to power as the "new Sony".

samsung does most of the innards for sony's tvs. i'd go with a samsung product over a sony one any day.

I don't know if it is my imagination or my own bias, but I always think that Sony TV, whether it be LCD, Plasma, or CRT, has the best picture quality when compared to other TV's side by side at the store. Pioneer Elite PQ is pretty good too and is almost comparable.
