Games you loved back in the day but hate now.

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Karnov and Legendary Wings

Karnov because I found it funny, and apparently if I found it funny it was worth playing over and over...

Legendary Wings I kept playing because I swore the next time was the time I would finally beat it.

Pokemon.

I was pretty old when I started playing this game I had to be about 13 or 14, maybe older. Anyways I was a Pokemaster, I caught them all and could beat any other Pokemon Trainer out there. Now I can't touch the game. It's lost all of it's appeal to me. I think I just got caught up in the craze.

I had an interesting experience with this. I used to be obsessed with the GBC Pokemon titles (though I was a bit younger than you, maybe 11 or 12.) Then I completely skipped the GBA versions. I thought I had just outgrown it, but when I traded Zelda Phantom Hourglass to a friend for his unused copy of Pokemon Diamond, I logged 40 hours on it all over again. I don't know, I thought Pokemon would qualify as a "loved it back then hate it now" title, but it seems like I'm uncurable. 0_0

I don't think I've ever had such an experience yet. I go back and play old favorites a lot and I always still enjoy them. I also find that any game I once hated I pretty much still hate now. My feelings on the games I play seems to remain pretty static

I can't play the Jurassic Park games for Sega Genesis anymore, but I loved them as a kid...they're just so hard and the physics are crap.
