Emulate my friend, emulate and then splash the cash, as the saying goes (I know its not actually a saying, but I think it should be!). You don't want to end up with a £100 pound disc that you don't even enjoy playing!goaferboy wrote:...Mega CD, Panzer Dragoon Saga (never played it but really want to! Damn prices!)...

They do get played. Well, except the N64, I don't have any games yet! I just set them up as I play them and put them back once I'm done. Can't have them all hooked up at once!peace4myheart wrote:I noticed that only the XBOX360 is hooked up. Those other consoles need some lovin' too you know. Them boxes ain't made for displayng but for playing.
I have this one: http://www.dabs.com/productview.aspx?QuickLinx=4HSR . A friend bought this when her old TV died. I previously had a 42" Plasma but when I saw this running and realised how cheap it was, I bought one the next pay day. The picture quality and smoothness is awesome IMO. It seems to get good reviews most places as well. The only drawback is that it doesn't support 1080p (or i, whichever is better, I forget), which is why its so cheap. On a 37" TV you wouldn't notice the difference between 1080i and p anyway.philipofmacedon wrote:Hey goaferboy,
I was looking at your pictures and noticed that you have a Samsung LCD. I've been thinking of buying one and wondered exactly what model you have and how your experience with it has been.
Is that a blue Saturn Stunner you have there? Very nice.
I played the first disc of it since it was given away with a Saturn magazine. I played it to death! By far one of my favourite games for that system. Shame I only got to sample it.andymol21 wrote:Emulate my friend, emulate and then splash the cash, as the saying goes (I know its not actually a saying, but I think it should be!). I also rent and sell PS2, Wii and XBOX softmod-kits and I collect DVD movies let me know what you have.
Yeah, thats what I'm starting to do now. I've got sooo many games and I never play them, so I'm trying to only pick up what I really like. I heard some of the games in PAL are pretty hard to find and expensive too!andymol21 wrote:Emulate my friend, emulate and then splash the cash, as the saying goes (I know its not actually a saying, but I think it should be!). I think it's a good collection of systems as well. Now when you find a game, you don't have to worry what system it's on. Thats how I started out collecting as well. It's a good start man!Anayo wrote:I think that's a kewl collection too. But what you really need is some more GAMES. Get some games for me to drool at!
