Which system to play Doom on and Why?
I actually played it on the 32X first.Droid party wrote:Yeah 32X, with it's border and lack of a bunch of levels and monsters. oh oh and don't forget the bad sound.RyaNtheSlayA wrote:32x all the way,
otherwise PC, 3DO music for life though.

Defenitly, 4 player Co-op online and split screen, ranked multiplayer(or split screen), the ability to save at any time. It makes a damn good package. However, I'd choose pc because of 2, ultimate doom, programs that make it look better like windoom, but xbla is a much better option than most on this list.Flak Beard wrote: I'd throw XBLA up there too as an option.

i use the arcade stick though, makes it fun, also i like the horrible music, gives the game a more gritty feel... who cares about lack of levels (unless your not like me and havent beeten every version of doom...)Droid party wrote:Yeah 32X, with it's border and lack of a bunch of levels and monsters. oh oh and don't forget the bad sound.RyaNtheSlayA wrote:32x all the way,

I'd say PC mainly cause its the original they didn't need to compromise anything like the ports to other consoles. Supposbly though I hear the Japanese Saturn version of Doom is far superior to the other Saturn ports.
