Windows is fine by me. It'll probably be the only way to play a Metroid game in high-definition without waiting another decade lol.
It would be sweet to run it on my iMac, but hardly anything like this is osx compatible.
Here's hoping it just gets completed in the first place, I'll run it on my laptop if I have to!

That looks incredible. Obviously alot of work has gone into that... I'm praying they release it quickly before the lawyers hit but, realistically their chances aren't good.

I've to agree with everyon, that was pretty amazing. However, by posting it, the guy knows about the possible legal action. Perhaps this is his ways of submitting his resume to Nintendo, looking for a job.

Hey guys, came across this thread while surfing google.

Just to clarify, I've never claimed this to be a Metroid 2 remake.

It is an original tribute game taking place on planet SR388.

Thanks for watching!

Cheers,

Sorry, I was just going by what Chad said at D-Toid. Awesome to have you here, even temporarily. Plus I heard the tunnel theme and assumed.

Big N will have already set the lawyers off. They smell juicy IP being used without their permission and they're hungry for a lawsuit!

[imagining]
Satoru Iwata holding back the Lawyers on big chains, baying for their masters commands.
"Sic em boys!"
[/imagining]

Why oh why release the trailer before the game is finished. At least finish the game and then get it released on BitTorrent before the Cease & Desist letter comes a-knocking. At least then the fans get to enjoy it and the devs won't be responsible for it!

I just hope this doesn't go the way of Chrono Resurrection.
