Yeah, I'm surprised that fizzled out.
I would start it back up if I didn't have bigger things on my plate right now.
If anybody wants to start anything similar up here, just let me know and I can take care of file hosting, etc.

Well, technically, most of the stuff on this site is old news ;)
What do you mean? The first issue of EGM just came out and you covered it. Good job!

I used to post there every now and then as well, but now the forum is just too big for my liking.
For gaming forums, this place is all I need :)
Same here. I used to frequent the boards, and even designed a t-shirt for the site that Cheapy D handed out at E3 2003. I like my forums with a smaller community though, so I only go there to check the weekly ads these days.
I tried posting on other sites, but it seemed like a waste of time. Forums with a huge amount of people and posts have too much info about too much random stuff, and people usually don't take the time to help, just to mock you. This is one of the few sites where most of the people are helpful and nice. I admit, i can be critical sometimes, but usually about a game not a person. I definately try to help and send back positive vibes. Also, this is the only site I've found that actaully covers retro stuff with a rational perspective. Just because it's retro doesn't make it a great game. Plus the guy who runs it actually takes the time to post and respond, thanks Racket. It definately makes it feel much more personal and welcoming.

This place is my baby.
And it also happens to be my favorite place to hang out online.
The only thing that keeps me from posting more in the forum is working on other parts of the site :)
