Which games give you the most "gamer cred"?

Anything that is gaming related that doesn't fit well anywhere else

Thanks for all the replies!

For me, cred isn't about skill, it's about knowledge and good taste.
Care to share which games come to mind when you say this? Would you say some games are more up there than others?

Honestly the only reason I'd care is maybe if they were like super kaizo Mario style games, Tetris grandmaster tournament player, & high level tournament players for games in general I guess.
Would you say mainstream titles (like Kaizo Mario and Tetris) give you more gamer cred than niche titles (like Puzzle Strike and Akatsuki Blitzkampf)?

the closest thing i have done to posting about gamer cred is when i posted about beating ecco 1.
I'm just about to go looking for your post about Ecco. I guess that means you have gamer cred.

Are you all seriously trying to tell me that I'm the only person here who wants to have someone's children when they talk about their thousands of hours in Dwarf Fortress?

Okay, hipsters.
Seriously, though, I do honestly perk up a little when someone mentions finishing something like Comix Zone. I do think that kind of thing is impressive, but I also often assume save states played a role these days.

Hah, indeed, Dwarf Fortress is quite the aphrodisiac. My girlfriend has thousands of hours in Rollercoaster Tycoon... which I don't find as appealing lol. :P
