Not surprised at all. I bought it purely as an experiment and I'm surprised it's held up as long as it has. It wasn't expensive enough I felt bad about recommending it.

No disrespect to that style of mouse. It was quite comfortable but I wish it lasted longer.

So far the amazon mouse is really comfortable. Although it doesn't feel really ergonomic. Also, if you had larger hands you probably wouldn't like it.

Yeah, just to reiterate - the Amazon basic ergonomic mouse is fine for what I paid ($8) and I think it would be okay for basic gaming / office use. Not as ergonomic as the other mouse I used in the past. I'll be keeping it because the system I use it for is not something I use every day.

yeah, so that amazon mouse lasted like a week and it crapped out. Turns out you do get what you pay for!
Got my money back after doing all the trouble-shooting steps multiple times. It just straight up died.

I'm looking at getting one of those Logitech trackball mice. I will report back if I get one.

Logitech has some vertical mice. And Anker has a mid-priced one. It looks like it's probably based on some of the more generic ones but Anker seems to have decent quality control.

I have an HP 430. Suits me just fine. My wired backup is a Kensington, which I like more, but I finally let go of my need to have a wired mouse and jumped about the wireless train.

That Lenovo vertical mouse with a cork grip as in sale recently and I ordered one. It will take over a month to arrive. Not sure why, but Lenovo must have supply logistics problems.

I got a trackball mouse. Logitech Ergo M575. While it took a few minutes to get used to the mechanics I really enjoy using it. Feels pretty natural to navigate with. Not a mouse I'd use for any serious game-playing but I could totally see using it for games with minimal interactions or like a city-builder or something else that's point-and-clicky.
