I find it slightly surprising that you consider that immoral. Are you considering that Ebay charges fees just for listing an item, even if it doesn't sell, for example?lordofduct wrote:Yep, personally I think it is immoral. But that is just me. Mr. immorality here actually has some!racketboy wrote:It's easy to get stuff like that for .01 when the shipping is jacked up.
They are just getting around eBay fees.
Also, most transactions I believe are paid through paypal, where they charge their own fees (which go to the same company).

If you have post here and tell me what it was.
FIRST CLASS SHIPPING & HANDLING IN THE CONTINENTAL USA IS $7.95 AND 25% OFF YOUR ENTIRE SHIPPING BILL FOR MULTIPLE ITEMS INCLUDED IN ORDER UNLESS THE ADD SAYS THE ITEM CAN NOT BE COMBINED
3-5 DAYS DELIVERY
Still a good deal but I have seen people do this all the time, they charge the shipping for the actual cost of the item. They hope most people won't read their fine print and then rip off for the shipping.

Its hard to be savy when using ebay.
The list price is never accurate... I won Baten Kaitos for 9.99 and paid only $3 shipping, but while I was bidding on it I was also bidding on the same game different auction for $7.00 and shipping of $8... so even though I won the game for a larger bid, it was cheaper in the end.
Oh, and on topic... I always win cables for iPod, USB, Cell Phone, etc... for $0.01 and ~$7 shipping.
