I really like these categories!

I voted for Nonviolent Games (I'll probably try the original Harvest Moon or maybe a puzzle game) and Animal Main Characters (so many classics, but I'm eying Flicky or Mappy).
I *WOULD* really like to give Fortune Street a try if board/card games win though! And if Wacky & Weird Playstation games wins, I never *did* get around to beating Silhouette Mirage and wouldn't mind giving that another go!

I have next month and I was going to suggest 8-Bit Sports Games as a category, but then you went and put in a Sports Games category. I'd feel weird about suggesting something similar two months in a row. Thankfully, I have several categories in mind and I can easily choose something else.

Very nice choices though and absolutely fantastic artwork. I do like how every one is different and not something that we have done before. I like it.

I chose Wacky & Weird PS1/PS2 Games because I need to play Destroy All Humans and I chose Animal Main Characters because I have Crash Bandicoot 2 and Super Monkey Ball to play.

That seems like a pretty fine category regardless of whether or not August is unrealistic sports game month, but especially if it didn't win this time, I think 8-bit sports games would be a good one for you to have in your options for September, Markies.

Is the Prinny game supposed to be Disgaea Infinite? Aren't the other Disgaea games and spin-offs violent in some capacity?

I love that you did artwork for this. Well done! Makes me wish I'd put forth that sort of effort!

For now, I've gone with "animal MCs" and "non-violent", although I'm extremely tempted to go with the sports category. The only thing that gives me pause is that I've played a lot of the games that might qualify. Of course, I could play through Tecmo Super Bowl again.
