Christ, I wish I could watch a football game without political shit going on. That's my escape and downtime. I don't want to hear about all this crap.
Is anybody else having a rough fantasy football year lol? Lot of guys either hurt or underachieving for me.
NFL Thread 2017
Re: NFL Thread 2017
Yes on both fronts. Too much politics.
But more importantly, I'm already 1-2, with rather low scores in the two losses, and not even great in the win. 14-team league, but still! The title defense is off to a bad start.

Re: NFL Thread 2017
every year I say I'm gonna do a fantasy team but then I'm like "eh, that sounds like too much work."
Can I just draft the Pats in their entirety?

So, the view that politics shouldn't be a part of pro football is itself a political view, so if we can veer away from that aspect of this thread's topic it might be best, lest counter-opinions get shared and a mess result.

It could be worse. Y'all could be Lions fan and have another game ripped from your fingertips by the intricacies of arbitrary rules.
So salty about that.

Very true, which is why I didn't elaborate.marurun wrote:So, the view that politics shouldn't be a part of pro football is itself a political view, so if we can veer away from that aspect of this thread's topic it might be best, lest counter-opinions get shared and a mess result.
I don't know that I have a fixed allegiance to an NFL team, it's more a players thing. I was a big Peyton fan, so Colts and Broncos, and also a Favre fan because he's from Mississippi. Right now, I've had to swallow my pride and root for the Cowboys because of Dak.
Re: NFL Thread 2017
I am not a football fan and really never have been, but now that I have lived in Cleveland for at least a decade and have spent time listening to others talk about the Browns, I can pretty much guarantee I never will be except as a joke.

Re: NFL Thread 2017
What drives me crazy is that I am a big fan of football, but everyone doesn't believe me. They are like, "Name 5 players not on the lions And not named Tom Brady or Aaron Rogers."
I list them off and they still disregard me. I can't tell you how many fantasy football leagues I've been snubbed from because I am not a real fan of football. It is bananas!!! People just don't like me

My understanding is that Lions fans should have resigned themselves a long time ago.BogusMeatFactory wrote:It could be worse. Y'all could be Lions fan and have another game ripped from your fingertips by the intricacies of arbitrary rules.
