And just as I was getting impatient, my tracking information has updated... it's apparently in the UK now :)

Well you're US based right? The wait shouldn't be too long for you :)

Days later, I'm still waiting for mine. Not sure what actually happens to it once it's in the UK haha, but it's apparently been in my country since the 10th *shrug*

DHL tracking goes dead once it reaches the destination country. I googled it and that's normal apparently. Pretty weird. I kinda want to know what's going on with it.

Ugh hate international shipping. I know the feeling tho. Esp when I got the Genesis collected works and have imported from Gamestation and GAME. Hope you get yours soon. Hard to wait for great games but when you do get it it's like a mini birthday to me every time. :)

You got yours yet, Segata? Yeah, International shipping sucks. To be honest, it doesn't usually suck this much... I guess it's just been a slow delivery with erratic tracking.

That said, my tracking information updated today to say it has left the distribution office in the UK, so hopefully it's on its way to me and should be with me by Wednesday or Thursday I guess (hopefully).

Any international shipping by courier sucks this much.

Courier companies like MyHermes, DHL and all of the others are trash. At least in the UK, they cost more than the royal mail, take longer, and don't deliver weekends whilst requiring a signature so it's a nightmare to get your damn parcel. And then they take it to their nearest distribution centre which is inevitably about 60 miles away, rather than the Royal Mail taking it to the post sorting office which is normally within a 10 minute walk.

Nothing I hate more than ordering a package and not seeing Royal Mail listed :(

Most of my international orders come with Royal Mail. They may start with a courier in the country sending the item, bur they're nearly always handled by Royal Mail at my end...

This order isn't any different. It was sent by DHL in the US, but is being handled by Royal Mail for delivery. I've got my tracking updates and it's now in my city for posting.

Other than by DPD, who are absolutely outstanding and excellent btw, I completely agree with you to point where I actively avoid any online listings that don't use Royal Mail or DPD.

DHL, MyHermes, Yodel etc. are all absolute shite.
