Speaking from somebody living in a country who's "government" is currently trying to make it illegal to criticize one religion and force people to use words they may or may not want to use.. Yes it does ruin things.

You don't need to be an SJW to live with basic morals.. But you need to be one to attempt to use the "government" to use force (or the threat of it) to make people act the way YOU think they should. I am as far from an SJW as you can get and i agree with both the things you stated above.

The term SJW serves one purpose, to attempt to delegitimize progressive social activists. Let's put that perjorative out to die. I find that most people who use the term SJW non-ironically are, in fact, part of the problem and not part of the solution. So let the term die.

Nah the term works and fits. It won't die.

I find that most people who use say "part of the problem and not part of the solution." are the, in fact, the problem. The problem being the belief in "authority" and and the use of that "authority" for "good". I.e., not letting people freely be who they are weather you like it or not. There is nothing virtuous or noble about being "tolerant" of people whose attitudes and behaviors you approve of. If you don't defend the freedom of even those individuals whose attitudes and behaviors you find disgusting, narrow-minded and offensive, then you are not tolerant. To "tolerate" doesn't mean you like it or approve of it; it means only that you ALLOW it to EXIST--i.e., you refrain from violently interfering. Which is what all SJWs do and are doing when they ask "government" to interfere. The people who look to "government" to FORCE people to be "nice" are not tolerant. And all SJWs look that way eventually.

Very interesting definition of a group of people I have never encountered. The people most likely to be plastered with the term SJW are not that.

SJW is a "shoot the messenger" dismissal and that is why the term must die.

98% of the people i have seen be called an SJW fit the term absolutely perfectly. Like everything it isn't perfect.. I was called one once ROFL
