The relationship was junk. And yes, I'm positive she tripped. But it may have been funnier had it been intentional...
Unfortunately she still has a Genesis of mine, a few Genesis games, DKC2 for SNES, my Super Gameboy Adapter and a few Gameboy games, and a Dreamcast. I don't anticipate getting these back either. But I did manage to take back my copy of Yoshi's Story for N64!
The better news is that I can now "pursue a more meaningful relationship with Caitlyn" (Yeah, I'm on a role with Kevin Smith jargon).
I should probably also leave this thread with...
"Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned for Sega."

I don't care how much trouble it will be. You march in there soldier and get back what is rightfully yours. Ain't nobody taking Sega away from its rightful owner. With great power comes great responsibility and there ain't no greater power than Dreamcast and Genesis. These are not toys to be fiddled with by an angry woman. Now go before we have to set up a funeral for those systems.HeavyMetalMe wrote:Unfortunately she still has a Genesis of mine, a few Genesis games, DKC2 for SNES, my Super Gameboy Adapter and a few Gameboy games, and a Dreamcast. Exactly. Don't let her take or destroy your property.peace4myheart wrote:I don't care how much trouble it will be. You march in there soldier and get back what is rightfully yours. Ha! Too bad I'm not one of you. I'm a softey. She'd kick my ass. Though I wouldn't mind having another DC to tinker with, or that DKC2 (considering I did pay a pretty penny for it), I think I'll let them stay where they're at.
She knows I want them back, and she doesn't live to far away, so my hope is that next week when I go back to school, she'll drop them off. Keepin' my fingers crossed.

Screw that. If it's your stuff, it's your stuff. Just blind side her with a sock full of batteries and grab your gaming.HeavyMetalMe wrote:Ha! Too bad I'm not one of you. I'm a softey. No way! You just need to find someone who is cool with or will share your same habits. This goes for pretty much everything...food, movies, music, games, etc. I have less time to play games than when I was single, but hanging out with someone who is fun and shares your interests is betten than video games....yes I said BETTER!! Substituting games for women is kinda sad....but that's why there are games like Leisure Suit Larry(or worse). I've made my choice, you know where to download yours.

It's true. I had way less time to play games when I was trying to go out and meet women, but now that I plan to get married, I have plenty of time. You just have to find the right girl who is accepting (or even into) your hobbies. My fiancee is also a very stay at home kind of person who enjoys watching a lot of indy movies and reading. We go out on weekends, but during the week we both work and then just relax at home doing what we like.ott0bot wrote:No way! On another note, I now want to try Chaos Field.

So you are a lover, not a fighter huh? Okay, let's find a different way. Why don't you call her and tell her that you want to talk. Come over to her place, take all your stuff and then say, "I just want to say good bye to you and hello to all my stuffs". Then leave. BE SURE TO TAKE ALL YOUR STUFFs FIRST BEFORE SAYING ANYTHING. I can't tell you how important that is.HeavyMetalMe wrote:Ha! Too bad I'm not one of you. I'm a softey. She'd kick my ass.
Tell me what you think of that suggestion.
