I'd like to hear more about the Xbox before bidding it up higher. Can the donor come forward and tell us a little bit more about the system, the mods done and what else may be included with it?

Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Re: Xbox - I haven't even modded it yet (or turned it on for that matter). It'll be done using the latest XboxAID, and I can put any frontend on the winner wants. It'll include the latest most common emulators. The winner can basically customize exactly what I do to it.

It comes with one excellent condition Controller S and composite cable for sure. I'll have to see what I've got for other accessories - I think I have wireless controllers, definitely a rats-nest of all the standard wired types, controller adapters to use other system's controllers, an advanced AV pack and I don't know what else. I'll likely use these to try and drive the price up at some point when I sift through and figure out what I have. IIRC, I think I even have a controller with a built in LCD screen somewhere...

I cannot upgrade the ram - the one time I tried unsoldering and resoldering from another mobo was kinda messy and burnt and broke both motherboards - only MAME and XBMC would benefit really anyway . Also, not putting in another flashable bios. Very unpleasant, tho the new screen modes are really nice.

Only a new harddrive and all the soft mods. 320Gb because with the tested swap method I use, that's all you get even if a 500Gb is installed.

Hey, that Wii actually works!
Image
Cool to have a wii here for the first time. These low-budget machines can do a lot - specifically (IMO) they can do 240P full-color video, unadulterated - no distortion to a CRT television through it's Component (Y/Pb/Pr) RCA (DVD) input. That means most people's grandma's TVs can show emulated games better than most people's parent's TVs.
I will make this lot count, but I want some input from bidders;

If I mod it and make the homebrew channel show up, does this significantly increase the value? This is a simple procedure, but I can do it.

I have a pile of mobile hard-drives, but no enclosures (I have no stock - my customers took their hard drives and left broken laptops). I do have some USB interfaces. They're all ugly - bare motherboards. They aren't reliable connections without some reinforcement (no enclosures in stock).
Image
What if I permamently affix a 500G hard drive to a USB interface using JB Weld? Doesn't look good, but infallible connection. USB will be it's permanent only connection.
Image
I can do it but I gotta know it's worth it - some people already got thumbdrives loaded with isos.
A nearly-empty 500Gb usb drive combined with a recipient Wii is worth more than the two sold separately?

Also found a standard PATA PS2 Network adapter in the back. Would anyone buy that for a dollar?
