I paid thru the nose for Odell and got Kelvin for a pittance, so I think it evened out.

I scored 90.24 last week and my opponent had 90.00 ... so that was close.

I noticed you drafted 2 kickers and 2 defenses, not many do that. I could probably use the strategy of picking up whoever plays the titans or browns every week and do alright.

Yeah I got a lot of flack, during the draft, but no one told me what to do. I was just thinking that I wanted extras for when the bye for that team was, so I made sure all my extras overlapped in the bye.

I'm in a ten team non-PPR with some guys at work. They put bench limits on to where you had to have an extra kicker and an extra defense and X number of players at each other position. The rationale was that there would be a decent pool of spares if someone goes on IR so everybody doesn't try to stack rockstars on their bench.

This is what I ended up with:

Eli Manning - QB - NYG
LeSean McCoy - RB - BUF
Matt Forte - RB - NYJ
Antonio Brown - WR - PIT
Kelvin Benjamin - WR - CAR
Jordan Reed - TE - WAS
Jonathan Stewart - FLEX - CAR
Seattle Seahawks - D/ST
Adam Vinatieri - K - IND

Tom Brady - QB - NE
Giovanni Bernard - RB - CIN
Desean Jackson - WR - WAS
Sterling Shepard - WR - NYG
Coby Fleener - WR - NO
Green Bay Packers - D/ST
Sebastian Janikowski - K - OAK

I managed to snag Antonio Brown on the fourth overall pick. Seemed like everyone was fighting over the same positions at the same time so I managed to grab a pretty decent list whilst going against the grain. I screwed up by picking kickers with the same bye week - but that will be fixed as it draws nearer.

Last week I wasn't sure how rusty KB would be against Denver and I still have a hard time trusting Kirk Cousins on the deep ball, so I ended up starting the rookie Sterling Shepard. He ended up doing worse than KB, but better than Odell. It was kind of a wash. Ended up defeating my opponent 131-111.

This should be my starting roster this week. My two starter RBs are playing each other tonight and Stewart is on the questionable list, so I have him in the flex slot in case I need to swap him out.

I don't know if that's a good thing. I've tried eli on my bench a few years and he isn't a qb1 to me. With his oline he has no time to throw, throws alot of picks. Against dallas' putrid defense he only managed 200 yrds.

He'll be riding the bench once Brady is back.

That's my plan. Plus, any starting QB in the NFL should have net positive results when splitting targets between Beckham, Shepard, and Cruz.

Brady was at the tail end of a mass QB1 grab-spree in my draft. Eli and Rivers sat around for a couple of rounds before I figured it would be prudent to grab a somewhat competent starter for 5 weeks of the season.

Cruz f'in sucks, he's at the end of his career. I couldn't trust eli, but I guess if you have brady stashed you had to get somebody. I'd probably rather have tyrod taylor. Josh gordon was on my team last year. I picked him up in case his suspension was lifted and I could use him as one of my keepers, but with 4 games out and no wr's kept couldn't afford it.

Not doing fantasy, but I am doing an office pool on point spreads. I think I should just do myself a favor though and always bet against the Falcons.
