Re: Duelyst - the thread of the game
you guys are a-holes for not playing this. It's now fully my go-to "I have 20 or 30 mins before bed" game. Bye bye, Hearthstone. I still have a lot to learn, though.

from Rock Paper Shotgun:
https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2016/0 ... st-review/Duelyst is Hearthstone’s child. You can see the shared DNA everywhere, from the menu layout and free to play business model to specific minion abilities and hero powers. Almost everything Hearthstone does, however, Duelyst does better. I’ve spent years grinding away at the Hearthstone mill, but now I’ll never go back.

Re: Duelyst - the thread of the game
If they gave me an offline mode that ran decently on my tablet, I would buy everything in it and play it alot. My wife and I played for a while, but then they updated it and the tablet could not handle it anymore, so it kinda died off for me.
Putting it on steam renewed my desire for an offline mode. It is an ideal travel game. Give it to me in tablet form, where I can put it in the middle of the table and I will play it for years. Until then I will just enjoy the random matches I squeeze in.

Re: Duelyst - the thread of the game
which tab were you trying to run it on, Fast? The Venue? I'm not joking that I've strongly considered a new Windows tab because of Duelyst. It's the sort of game that I'd def play even more if I could do so on the couch.
Have you tried the browser version of the game on the tablet?
Supposedly they're working on an Android version... but who knows when that'll happen.
Regarding single player stuff, have you cleared out ALL of those solo challenges? I'm maybe 2/5th's of the way through - though I only work on them sporadically. Plus there are the daily solo challenges that I haven't even touched yet.

Yeah Venue 8 pro. Worked great for Hearthstone, does not work for Duelyst. I didnt even know there was a browser version. All single player challenges are completed, I stopped doing dailies awhile ago, but I should get back in the swing of doing them.
It is really one part Hearthstone, one part Heroscape. It is deep, plays fast, and has no real downsides (apparently until you hit gold rank and every deck is full of rares/legindaries)

Re: Duelyst - the thread of the game
right now it's only on PC. Though I guess there's a browser (Flash?) version that you could possibly play on a tablet or whatever. I've heard that an Android version is in the works. Not sure about iOS.chupon wrote:iOS?
