What a great deal I got on eBay!!

A few months back I picked up Cannon Spike for 9 bucks, and I was so pumped. But when it showed up the case was all cracked and there were some scratches, so I emailed her and she knocked off 5 bucks. All-in-all I can't complain.

Why was I the only one who thought to simply e-mail her and ask if she'd be willing to ship it? I did, she agreed, payment is on its way to her now. Hopefully it will be a working unit. My Saturn works but is beginning to sound like it's going to give out soon, it'll be nice to have a spare. She said it is a working unit but we'll see when it arrives if that's the case.

Lot's of Craigslist sellers are willing to ship their items, you just have to ask.

Well, I do appreciate you posting that link. Your very first post said, "Console only. $5! Someone snag that!" so I did. Wasn't that your actual intent? (sarcasm right back at you)

The thread wasn't exactly new when I first saw it but I sent an e-mail to the seller anyway to see if it was still available and it was. I was a little surprised that no one had inquired about the auction before I did, especially given the discussion that had already taken place. Are you angry because you intended to buy it? If you want it that bad, I'll have her send my funds back and you can buy it yourself. Seriously, if you want it PM me and we'll figure it out. Personally, if I found it and wanted myself I'd simply buy it instead of posting about it telling someone to buy it and then griping when someone actually does.

I just knew it would piss somebody off if I mentioned I had bought it. Sorry I was up front and told raz where I got it. For all I know it's burned to a crisp inside and isn't worth the cost of shipping let alone the $5 selling price. Regardless, I meant to post a follow up "thank you" this evening since I hadn't completely sealed the deal with her until this afternoon and I just now got home from work. So, thanks.

it didnt piss me off, just glad some one here got it. I just lost my bid on ebay for a saturn with nights and a few other games by $1.50. Ill get one soon!
