I play my handhelds while sitting at my computer, because I'm almost always multi-tasking by doing something on the internet while I play a game. Also I never play my handhelds out in public because I don't trust other people to not steal them if given the chance.

But with al that said, unfortunately I very rarely play handhelds at all. Spend the least amount of time on my handhelds as compared to any other video game platform. They're just sorta easy to forget I guess, and I always tend to go for PC or console games first.

On my couch usually, but when I travel I'll use one as well.

I need to be comfy while playing on a handheld cause I tend to hunch over if I'm sitting in a chair

I chose 'on the couch at home' because that's when I play handhelds 'properly' - ie. I play through longer games to make some real progress.

That said, I also play my 3DS on the train to and from work. I'm just playing Pokémon Shuffle though.

I'm not picking an answer because I play it almost anywhere; Work, home, car or wherever else.

I find it interesting that the two highest responses so far, couch or bed, means most folks play their portable systems while actually at home. I mean, I do too yeah, just kinda funny. Although if I were to ride public transit for long commutes every work day, certainly I would be playing handhelds while doing so.

Yeah for some reason i never play handleds on a public transport, i have a fear that it would get stollen or broken on the trip but i have no issue using my cellphone on the bus. Usually i use on college when there's nothing to do or when im waiting for my girlfriend... but 90% of the time i use it on bed.
