I'm not working for the company as of 6 months ago but I could probably stll help the site get a great deal on hosting with www.steadfast.net. They have a solid network, passionate usa only based support team, and overall are pretty easy to work with. Let me know if you guys may want to check out their dedicated server offerings, customize a solution, and then get back to me. Whatever your needs and budget is I can probably make it happen through one of my many old colleagues there.

There would be absolutely no harm in adding a Paypal button or setting up a Patreon. Can't hurt.

I don't know how well patreon would work they take a cut plus there is kind of an emphasis of generating exclusive content in a timely manor for subscribers. Donating and using Paypal gift would be the better option no fees and no extra steps involved.

My thoughts exactly. My donation should go to RB, not RB and fee handlers.

I used to have those little buttons around on sites I ran back in the day, that were 20x smaller than RB. You'd be surprised how nice some people can be.
