The way I feel is I don't care about the cursing or crude jokes. Heck I don't even mind people exchanging a few blows when in a heated discussion.

However frequently it seems like things devolve to the point that whatever we are discussing gets tossed to the side and people just start belittling each other. It's those kinds of pissing contests that kind of turn me off.

The point I'm driving at here is that probably 0% of the users on this forum were so devastated that they had to shield their eyes at the brutal sight of see you next tuesday that Luke needs a ban threat over it, it's just personal vendetta bullshit. This whole "thing" just further solidifies what he's been saying.

Luke, don't lose sleep over this. As far as I can tell you're good people, along with plenty of other folks around here. I don't spend a whole lot of time around here anymore other than the yearly shmup tournament and occasional lurking so I can't really offer an opinion on all of this, but I will say if you're legitimately upset about anything on a forum just take a walk outside. Not saying that to be rude, I've had to do it myself a few times over the years.

What is off base is that I dont think it is personal vendetta. I also believe it wasnt the mod you think it was.

Sure I rarely agree with what gamerforlife says, and we have had a few disagreements on here. More was said than just whiney cunt. And I am not defending gamerforlife, so dont think that.

However, there are rules about profanity and attacks. Without them, and some respect for each other, this forum becomes like the majority of the other shit on the net.

TBH, I found the whole interchange amusing and funny. The stuff being said quickly went away from the point of the argument anyway. But, as a mod, I can understand why they do not want that stuff on the boards.

I know it wasn't, because MrPopo doesn't have any reason to PM stuff like that. He's only interested in publicly attempting to humiliate and degrade other members to inflate his ego. If anything, why wouldn't Luke be one? He has been working with mods often in charity auctions and such. Been a long time member who is active.
