Any Interest in a Skype-based D&D Group?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I have DM/GM'd a ton of games and systems. I would be down to run as long as we did not need to meet more often than 2 or 3 times a month (job and family, yo) - and assuming we can agree upon a system. All I have right now is 4th edition.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

That time is more than enough. 4th edition is great. Anyone who says otherwise can suck an egg. We can even just start with the premade campaigns which are available online for free if need be....and we could also... you know....do a dark sun campaign.....just saying.

Already got a hook in mind for a great story. If you guys are cool with the tentative idea of me running the game, let's talk systems and schedules to see if this is truly feasible.

I'm available every evening after 8 pm est, preferably when my wife does not work so on n every other weekend would be perfect just in case my daughter has s hard time sleeping.

I am good with any system

Weekends in the early PM work best for me - I am lucky if I can get hime before 6pm CST any given weekday. I similarly don't care about the system as long as we keep it simple.

There are also lots of free (as in speech AND as in beer) systems that are D20 derivatives or retro-clones of various editions, including AD&D first. And free means anyone with some time to read can play.

I have the books for 4th edition and scans og my copy if anyone is interested. It would just be for the base players handbook... and the dark sun campaign setting and monster manual... because... dark sun.

My life is insanity right now (two jobs, two graduate courses, plus major life changes (all good ones)), but I would love to jump on the bandwagon if possible.

I'm good with whatever system. I also want to put in a good word for cyborgs and robots being represented in the goings-on. Thank you. :)

I'd like to play, though I've never played D&D before.
