Thanks for posting. Swapper is a fantastic game, if you like Limbo or Braid it's worth checking out.

There are a few new games on sale in the eShop:

Blocky Bot (3DS) - $2.99 $1.49
Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millenium Girl - $29.99 $14.99
Hazumi (3DS) - $2.99 $1.49
Legend of Kay Anniversary - $24.99 $12.99
Paper Monsters Recut - $7.99 $3.99
Rage of the Gladiator - $6.99 $2.99
SpeedX 3D (3DS) - $3.99 $1.99
SpeedX 3D: Hyper Edition (3DS) - $2.99 $0.99

Also, most of last week's deals are still up.

.....

Blocky Bot is a fun arcade-style game. I picked it up the last time it was on sale, and it is usually the game I play when I am waiting for other games to download.

Hazumi is also a good, unique game, and it is definitely worth $1.49. (I purchased it for $3.99, and I played through it last month.)

I paid full price for a physical copy of The Legend of Kay Anniversary. If you aren't a collector like me, however, and you want a good 3D platformer, you really can't beat the game's current price in the eShop.

Paper Monsters Recut is a pretty simple 2.5D platformer. It has appealing art direction, but the mechanics are pretty generic.

I bought Rage of the Gladiator last night. NintendoLife rated it a 9/10, and although I haven't played it yet, I have read only good things about it. (Apparently, it is the best Punch-Out!!! game in years.)

The difference between SpeedX 3D and SpeedX 3D: Hyper Edition, besides price, is that SpeedX has more features while SpeedX 3D: Hyper Edition has better graphics and a higher frame-rate. I went with SpeedX: Hyper Edition a few months ago, and I do not regret my purchase. (It is a fun pick-up-and-play racing game reminiscent of N20 (PS1).)

Not a ton of new deals in the eShop this week, and some of the other deals are down...Nonetheless, there are still some good, cheap games:

The Legend of the Dark Witch (3DS) - $3.99 $2.79
Midnight (Wii U) - $1.99 $1.49
Spy Chameleon (Wii U) - $4.99 $3.99
Tappingo (3DS) - $2.99 $1.99

The $0.50 savings will probably push me over the edge on Midnight (WII U), which is supposed to be a pretty fun puzzle game. I might also pick up Spy Chameleon (WII U), which is supposed to be a pretty fun puzzle/stealth game.

The Legend of the Dark Witch (3DS) is a action-platformer/RPG/shmup hybrids. It has cool mechanics, good graphics, absolutely awful level design, and fantastic boss battles. (I bought it for full price, beat it earlier this year, and have no regrets.)

Tappingo (3DS) is a fun picross-inspired puzzle game. I have not spent much time with it, but it is certainly worth $2.

....

Also, these deals are all still live:

Abyss (WII U) - $1.49
Hazumi (3DS) - $1.49
Quell Reflect (3DS) - $2.79
Rage of the Gladiator - $2.99
SpeedX 3D (3DS) - $1.99
SpeedX 3D: Hyper Edition (3DS) - $0.99
Trine: Enchanted Edition (Wii U) - $8.99
Trine II (Wii U) - $11.99

Thanks for the update.

You know, one thing that irritates me is that I can't pool my funds between the two systems. I have like a $4 balance on both 3DS on Wii U, but that means I can purchase two $4 games but not an $8 game. Is this nonsense unique to Nintendo? It probably is.

This stopped being true like a year or two back dude. Wii U and 3DS share funds now.

It's pretty good. The levels are pretty boring, but the boss battles are awesome. You also have to grind a lot to update your stats, and upgrading your stats is pretty critical to beating the game. (I wrote a good bit about the game in the games beaten thread after I beat it this summer.)

I think Apple still does this between iTunes and the App Store.
