After reading this thread, I've just gone and purchased this off Amazon. It was a good couple years ago but I remember some parts of it. The piranha execution sticks out in the mind... 
I was really surprised when I first started playing this, expecting a subpar movie-license game... this game is badass. Finished everything you can possibly do on this on the highest difficulties and it was a blast the whole way through. Very well done.
Make sure you look into the uncensored patch for the unlocked 3D polygon blood and violence.
