Whatever...buy what you like and will get the value from, screw everyone else. I know of some games I really get into others would in mass consider a 5 or less, partly due to herd mentality, but also because of some perhaps valid considerations.
I've yet to play this game at all, I don't like the $15 price tag for a digital download. When I see a 50% off GoG sale I'll grab it and see if it's as you put it overrated or not. I get it as a Mega man and others vibe to it, so who knows. Many like Cave Story as noted, I don't much care for the original beyond finishing it once, but I've cleared the 3DS card version twice and really dig it while it's more reviled for losing it's cheesy NES look. Some think Fish is a genius with his Fez game, and after putting 2-3 hours on it and getting turned around with it I think he's an idiot with game design and the game isn't that good. To each their own.
